Scott devoted the first six years of his ministry speaking to numerous groups, religious gatherings, and events until he realized that there was a need for a church that met people where they are and confront the hardest questions they face.
For the past 20 years, Scott has pastored the church he founded, That.Church has become one of the fastest-growing communities in Arkansas. Just over 22,000 attendants at one of the three That.Church physical spots. Scott preaches at the Sherwood location and coaches the pastors of the other two locations. In addition, over 20,000 tune in to That.Church online as well as Scott's youtube channel.
Scott has been on the mission field in Peru, Eastern Africa, Bolivia, Palestine, and Israel. He has taught in nursing homes, classes, prisons, and anywhere someone would listen. He has a heart for children who do not have a forever family. This has led him to be a part of many organizations that support waiting for children. Scott believes that God has a heart for His children and we should too.
Scott Harness is an artistic speaker, author, and mentor. His passion for people has been the catalyst for numerous faith campuses, a network of clergymen, and their own families of ministry masters.

In Scott's book, he describes them as the result of a more than happy life. Scott has said on more than one occasion that other than Jesus, his family is the greatest gift God has given him.
The interesting turn of Scott's life was that while he was helping others find delight and significance in God's purpose, "he’s found" himself in the middle of being depressed, unfulfilled, and unsatisfied with his own life.
